Present: Cathy Demitroff, Mary Geetings, Zelda Gray, Shelley Rosa, and Matt Miller.
Also present: Jerry Solanics
The entire audience participated in the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion by Rosa to accept the January 2nd minutes as corrected. Support Miller. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
PUBLIC IN-PUT: Jerry Solanics, informed the board that members of the Democrat Party will be attending our meetings so they can become more informed.
OFFICER SALARY AND WAGES: Documents were distributed before the meeting and much discussion followed as to whether the responsibilities the Supervisor hold compare to that of the Clerk=s and Treasurer, and should she receive an increase.
Demitroff proposed that across the board a 2% increase would be given.
Motion Rosa to approve the Planning Department increase their pay from $35.00 to $40.00 per meeting. Support Gray. Roll Call. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Gray, by Resolution, to increase the Supervisor=s pay up 2%. Support Miller. Roll Call - Rosa No, Gray Yes, Demitroff Yes, Miller Yes, Geetings No. Motion Carried.
Motion by Gray, by Resolution, to increase the Treasurers pay up 2% for both the Treasurer=s responsibilities, and for her Summer Tax Collection. Support Miller. Roll Call. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Gray, by Resolution, to increase the Clerk=s pay up 2%. Support Miller. Roll Call. Miller Yes, Rosa Yes, Demitroff No, Geetings Yes, Gray Yes. Motion Carried.
Motion Demitroff to increase the Trustee=s pay from $90.00 to $95.00 per meeting. Support Rosa. Roll Call. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
STATE POLICE CONTRACT:
Rent currently is $900.00 per year. Motion by Demitroff to leave the rent at the current rate. Support Rosa. Discussion followed.
Amend Motion to keep the rent at the current cost, but to find out who the contact person is and to investigate what their feeling are for this site in the future. Rosa supports the amended motion. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
FIRE TRUCK TIRES:
The motion at the February 5th meeting was void, because quorum was not present. Motion by Geetings to accept Northern Auto=s bid for $2,844.54 for tires for the 1976 Fire Truck. Support Rosa. Roll Call. Rosa Yes, Demitroff Yes, Gray Abstain, Miller Yes, Geetings Yes. Motion Carried.
APPROVAL ROAD COMM. BILL:
The mail had not been picked up before the February 5 meeting and this bill was missed. Motion Demitroff to pay the Road Commission Fuel bill for January. Support Rosa. All Ayes. Motion Carried.
