At our last meeting of April 19th, attendance included Katrina Smith, Cathy Demitroff, Frank Walterhouse, Pamm Laing and Calvin. We discussed the following topics:
The gravel upgrade for the skate pad has been approved at a total cost of $6,448.
The septic and water both in the new restroom and the irrigation system were discussed. This included the need for a ramp into the bathroom building for handicap accessibility.
We discussed having and opening house for both the bathroom and the skate pad once both are ready to be used.
We discussed the ramps to be donated for the skate park as well as a time line for getting the other components approved by the BOD, ordered, delivered and installed prior to 6/1.
We discussed the need to work on the bylaws at some point in the near future.
We discussed painting the playground equipment we have to make it look a little nicer next to our new bath room. Cathy has already contacted a resource for estimates.
We discussed up coming grants. The next 2% grant is due June 30th. We discussed applying for playground equipment as per Denis’ previous plans. The Oleson grant deadline is next April.
