Members present: Denis Rokicki, Bob Rosa , Todd Warren, Pamm Laing
Members Absent: Katrina Smith
Others present: , Calvin Smith, Cathy Demitroff
Call to Order: Meeting called to order by Rokicki at 6:06
Approval of the Agenda : Laing made a motion to approve. Rokicki supported.
Approval of the Minutes of March 15, April 19 and May 19. Rosa made a motion to approve. Laing supported.
Public Input on the Agenda: None
Old Business:
Committee by-laws: Committee will review all sample by-laws and make recommendations at next meeting..
Skatepark: ..Rokicki suggest that seeding should be done around Skatepark. Supervisor Demitroff offered to contact Honor Lumber and see if they can help with the delivery of Skatepark ramp kits.
Restrooms: . Supervisor Demitroff reported that the local scouts have offered to put up the fence for the drain field.
New Business:
Misc . Supervisor Demitroff asked for suggestions of who should be mentioned on the plaques for the restroom and Skatepark. The board recommended that the business contributors only be mentioned. Laing suggested that a sign be placed on the sw corner of the restrooms labeling them as such.
Public Input on and off the Agenda: Calvin Smith asked if himself and some friends could put up some concrete ledges for skating. Warren suggested he get some more information and present to the board at a latter date.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:52
The next meeting of the Homestead Township Parks and Recreation Committee will be September 21 at 6:00pm
